Playlabs Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Playlabs, a web-based mobile gaming service offered via Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) in the United Kingdom. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Playlabs

Playlabs is a telecom value-added service (VAS) providing users with access to online games, mobile entertainment, and gaming content via web browsers on mobile devices. The service is accessible through mobile networks and is billed via Direct Carrier Billing (DCB), which allows charges to be added directly to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be a UK resident;
  • Be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian;
  • Have a mobile device with an active UK SIM card from a supported mobile network operator;
  • Be authorized to incur charges on the associated mobile account.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • Playlabs is a subscription-based service billed via Direct Carrier Billing (DCB).
  • The subscription is charged at [Insert Price] per [week/month], and the fee will appear on your mobile bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance.
  • Subscription begins immediately after user confirmation (via OTP or click-to-subscribe flow).
  • By subscribing, you authorize your mobile operator to bill you on our behalf.

Unsubscribing

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

  • Visiting www.playlabs.app; or
  • Contacting your mobile operator's customer service.

Unsubscribing will stop future billing but will not refund past charges unless required by law.

4. Free Trials & Promotions

We may offer free trials. At the end of the free trial, the regular subscription charges will automatically apply unless you cancel before the trial period ends. Only one free trial per mobile number is permitted.

5. User Conduct

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Use Playlabs only for lawful personal entertainment;
  • Not attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the Service;
  • Not share or misuse any content, games, or access credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

All games, text, graphics, music, videos, and software on Playlabs are protected by intellectual property rights owned by Playlabs or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service content for personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 24/7 access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Access may be limited due to network availability, maintenance, or unforeseen technical issues.

8. Privacy & Data Use

We respect your privacy. Data collected (e.g., mobile number, device type, usage data) is used to deliver, manage, and improve the Service and may be shared with your mobile network provider for billing and service purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service;
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the past 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and may also be communicated via SMS. Continued use after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

You may incur additional costs (such as mobile data charges) from your network provider. Playlabs is not responsible for these charges.

14. Complaints & Refunds

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact customer support within 30 days of the charge. Refunds may be issued at our discretion or as required by UK consumer protection law.
